Town planning certificate

The concessionaire of the airport transferred to the City municipality a package of documents necessary for obtaining the town planning certificate for construction of the new passenger terminal of the International Airport of Chisinau.

The documents include preliminary design and the necessary legal documentation to land.

The concept of the new terminal was developed by S. S. ARHISTRAT DECO S. R. L., Vasile Stratou – the author of the project,

in accordance with the technical specification of Avia-Invest, in cooperation with SC AF ARCHITECTS S. R. L., represented by the architect Vladimir Pinzaru.

The project is unique: nothing like this has ever been created in our country before.

After receiving the city planning certificate, the concessionaire company that manages the MAC will develop detailed design and construction documentation for the new terminal.

The area of the future terminal will be at least 32 thousand square meters, and it will serve 4.2 million passengers annually with the possibility of increasing passenger traffic to 4.5 million passengers by 2035. Parking spaces for public and private vehicles will be provided at the terminal.

The structure will be made mainly of glass and metal. The terminal will consist of three levels below and three levels above zero.
