Baggage check-in (at no extra charge)
The air ticket cost usually includes one piece of baggage, included in the free baggage allowance (without payment during baggage check-in). The weight of such baggage depends on the destination of your flight and the air carrier. For further details concerning the free baggage allowance, please contact the ticketing agency or the airline, from which you purchased the ticket. Checked baggage must be clearly labeled with your name and permanent address inside and outside each piece. Important documents, valuables and medicines, shall be transported in the hand baggage.
List of prohibited articles
Passengers are not permitted to carry the following articles in their hold baggage:
explosives and incendiary substances and devices – explosives and incendiary substances and devices capable, or appearing capable, of being used to cause serious injury or to pose a threat to the safety of aircraft, including:
- ammunition,
- blasting caps,
- detonators and fuses,
- replicas or imitation explosive devices,
- mines, grenades and other explosive military stores,
- fireworks and other pyrotechnics,
- smoke-generating canisters and smoke-generating cartridges,
- dynamite, gunpowder and plastic explosives.
Attention!
The transportation on board of the above-listed substances and items, as well as of other dangerous substances and objects, that may endanger the life and health of the passengers is unlawful, and may be punished with imprisonment and/or application of penalties.
Excess baggage (with payment)
The excess baggage charges differ, depending on your airline. You can ask your travel agent what the excess baggage charge in your case would be. Thus, you will avoid the unforeseen expenses.

Over-sized, fragile and valuable baggage
This type of hand baggage including, for example, big musical instruments, pieces of art, electronic equipment etc., due to its fragile nature is not suitable for traveling inthe hold of the aircraft. Therefore, this hand baggage is allowed to be transported in the passenger cabin. The payment for such hand baggage is performed in case its size and weight exceeds the established limits.
