The aeronautical security of the Republic of Moldova was subjected to an ICAO international audit, which was successfully completed.
The results are extremely encouraging, the level of implementation of the rules is over 80%, increasing by 10% compared to the previous audit, a very good result worldwide.
The level of air safety has increased both for passengers and for aircraft crews, this being an important message for the predisposition of airlines that intend to enter the aeronautical market of the Republic of Moldova.
The experts analyzed how well the airport ensures the safety of passengers, how documents are processed, access control procedures in restricted airport areas, the supervision of the security system on board aircraft, the verification of documents and the equipment of the cabin crew, cooperation and coordination between authorities responsible for aviation security.
The preliminary results of the audit reflect the firm commitment of the Republic of Moldova in ensuring aviation security at the highest international standards
